Halong Bay is synonymous with its striking limestone karsts and bucolic landscape, but due to its heritage protection, there remain few areas for private events. However, for those on an overnight cruise there remains a dining experience that is beyond the norm.
A wooden platform juts out from the water surrounded by bright yellow kayak boats to form a unique and visually striking spectacle. Here an elegant, rustic chic table setting is placed on the deck surround by native floral displays.
Soft up lighting brings the karsts to life in the evening that provides a magnificent backdrop to dining … in a remote area of Halong Bay. A fine, plated Vietnamese meal is provided, all the while soft jazz is played through the undisturbed air.
Note, this event is open to the elements and in case of adverse weather the dinner will need to be held on the boat.
